Record the process of CentOS closing selinux software

SELinux (Security Enhanced Linux) is a security enhanced Linux kernel security module that provides additional mandatory access control (MAC) mechanisms. It adds more fine-grained access control to the traditional Linux access control permission (DAC) model, and enhances the security of the system. Generally, when we get the CentOS system installation software environment, we will close the seLinux software, which can solve the problem that sometimes the firewall blocks the software and cannot install it. We will protect security through other defense software.

It is recorded here that we shut down selinux in the server.

Open the SELinux configuration file/etc/selinux/config. You can use a text editor to open the file, for example, use the vi command:

 vi /etc/selinux/config

Find the SELINUX=line in the configuration file, which is used to set the status of SELinux. By default, the value of this line is enforcing, which means SELinux is in forced mode.

Change SELINUX=enforcing to SELINUX=disabled, which means SELinux is disabled.

Restart the system to make the changes take effect. You can use the reboot command to reboot the system: reboot.
