Simple comparison of LNMP and OneinStack one button package differences and selection suggestions

Usually, patches will be made unless there are security problems, or there will be few updates.

Compared with Yeho's OneinStack script, it didn't develop as early as LNMP. However, due to the diligent upgrade, update and maintenance, and the quick improvement of some function suggestions provided by Laozuo sometimes, it may be precisely this attitude and the number of users in the past two years is also relatively large. First, what they have in common

In terms of time, LNMP should have existed for many years. Lao Zuo saw the existence of LNMP before he began to contact VPS. OneinStack is officially open to public users in the past two or three years. In short, both scripts are relatively mature, with new functions and software versions, and can be improved quickly once the software version is upgraded and updated.

At the beginning, LNMP was mainly used as the Nginx driver. In fact, LAMP and LNMPA can be installed together, but we may be used to using LNMP when installing Nginx.

Second, the differences between the two

From the perspective of script function, OneinStack should be richer than LNMP. For example, it can customize the installation of environment support such as LNMP, LAMP, LNMPA, LNMT (Tomcat), lnpp/app (PostgreSQL), and lnmh (HHVM). At the same time, Oneinstack provides more comprehensive local and third-party storage and backup access, including local backup, remote (rsync), AliCloud OSS, Tencent Cloud COS, Youpai Cloud and Qiniu Cloud backup scripts.

From the above point of view, LNMP is relatively weak. Of course, we can set it manually, but the automation is not as good as Oneinstack. I hope that Junge will be added in later versions (automated implementation). However, from the document guidance of solving problems in the use of scripts, LNMP has advantages. Basically, problems that need to be solved can be solved from official forums or documents shared by users. This is mainly because LNMP has time advantages.

From the perspective of script function, both of them can meet our regular needs for site building. For those who are just learning to write and use VPS to build a website, it is recommended to start with the one with a panel. After all, the authorities all provide command line tools, and building websites is nothing more than adding and deleting websites.
