About the author:

Zhang Xinxin
Born in Shandong in 1967, he is a professor of the Chinese Department of Fudan University and a distinguished professor of Changjiang Scholars of the Ministry of Education.
His main works include: Chinese modern literature research works Modern Consciousness of Chinese Literature in the First Half of the 20th Century, Shen Congwen's Later Life, Shen Congwen's Nine Lectures, and Shen Congwen's Earlier Life; Collection of contemporary literary criticism: Habitat and Nomadic Land, Double Witness, Power of Ineffective Literature, Literary Mode of Contemporary Criticism, Oblique Line; Essays: Nine People, Sand Grain, Infatuation, Love, Wind Blowing; Poetry anthology "In the middle of words", "Three line anthology", "The way to communicate with the world when alone" and so on.
He has won many awards, such as the 4th Chinese Literature Media Award • Literary Critic Award, the 1st Contemporary Chinese Literature Critic Award, the 6th Lu Xun Literature Award, the 10th National Library Wenjin Book Award, etc.
