PWM adjusts the brightness not by changing the power, but by alternating the brightness and brightness of the screen. When the PWM dimming screen lights up, it does not continuously light up, but constantly lights up and turns off the screen. The lower the alternating speed of light and light, the greater the possibility of adverse effects on human eyes.Dry eyes, eye distention, and migraine (different from personal sensitivity) may occur. Two documents related to IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers): Part I:https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/5618050Part II:https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/7118618It was pointed out that LED stroboscopic could cause elevated intraocular pressure, migraine or photosensitive diseases. "IEEE Recommended Practices for Modulating Current in High Brightness LEDs for Mitigating Health Risks to Viewers" proposed that the stroboscopic range of low health risks should be above 1250Hz, the actual recommended stroboscopic range should be above 3000Hz, and Apple laptops should be more than 100000 Hz.

How to check whether there is strobe? Find an Android phone and turn on the camera. In professional mode, adjust the shutter speed to more than 1000 minutes for 1 second, and then look at the screen to see whether there are flickering stripes.

Some mainstream screen PWM dimming query websites:https://www.notebookcheck.net/PWM-Ranking-Notebooks-Smartphones-and-Tablets-with-PWM.163979.0.html (0 means DC dimming without stroboscopic)
usage method: 1. Put the software in a place easy to remember; 2. Open the CMD command window and run PWMHelper to display the current frequency; 3. Enter the PWMHelper space number, and then set it to the frequency you want. It is recommended to increase it slightly in an appropriate amount. It may affect the screen hardware if it is set too large at one time. See the following figure for details:

Heju published at 11:00 on July 22, 2020 Thank you, I tested the Lenovo E430C laptop. After running the program, it showed 0, but in fact, the flash screen of the camera was very powerful.
If it is zero, there should be no information read. You can try to set a value to see whether stroboscopic is improved under the same brightness. For example, thick stripes become thinner and denser, or there are no stripes.
This kind of software is no more useful than gimmicks. It is a problem of the screen quality and structure of the hardware itself. If it can be adjusted by software, the manufacturer can directly integrate it into the display firmware. For problems that cannot be solved by the manufacturer, can one software solve the problem of improving the quality of screen hardware?
Be sure to check whether there is strobe with the camera first. Some screens only have strobe at low brightness, but not at high brightness. Some screens are always flashing.
