CCTV News (News broadcast): Li Xi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, met in Beijing on the 10th with a delegation of senior cadres led by Hoffman, chairman of the Brazilian Labor Party.

Li Xi said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Pakistan. China is willing to work with Pakistan to implement the important consensus reached between President Xi Jinping and President Lula, promote friendly exchanges in all fields and at all levels, enhance political mutual trust, deepen strategic cooperation, and promote the upgrading of China Pakistan comprehensive strategic partnership. The Communist Party of China is willing to take the 40th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two parties as an opportunity to further deepen inter party relations with the Brazilian Labor Party. Li Xi also introduced the important thought of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the Party's self revolution, as well as the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party and anti-corruption work.

Hoffman said that this year is an important year for the relations between the two parties and the two countries. The Brazilian Labor Party is willing to work together with the Communist Party of China to strengthen party building, governance and political exchanges, consolidate political mutual trust between the two countries, strengthen the docking of development strategies and multi field cooperation, and jointly address global challenges.
