The Ancient Stork Tower, located on the east bank of the Yellow River to the west of Puzhou Ancient City, Yongji City, Shanxi Province, has only existed for more than 700 years and was destroyed by war. Later, due to the flooding of the Yellow River, the riverbed was relocated, and the former site was also submerged. Until 2002, the renovated Stork Tower was once again in the same frame as the Yellow River.

The Yellow River flowing from north to south turns east at the junction of Shanxi, Shaanxi and Henan. Thanks to the advantaged irrigation conditions, it has become the region where the wheat matures earliest in Shanxi. However, due to the large bends and rapid water flow, the Yellow River floods often break dikes and destroy fields.
In Chinese traditional culture, the cow is the god beast to control water. The Yellow River Iron Bull, nearly 1300 years old, is located on the Pujindu site adjacent to the Stork Tower. They face the Yellow River, their eyes are wide open, their front legs are kicking and back legs are squatting, and their muscle lines are very beautiful, reflecting a very powerful momentum.

As an important channel for transporting food, iron, salt and other materials, Pujin Ferry was an important ferry in the middle reaches of the ancient Yellow River. But the Pujin floating bridge before was a bamboo rope boat connecting floating bridge, which used wooden piles as ground anchors and was easily damaged by the Yellow River. In the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty decided to build a new Pujin pontoon bridge with the strength of the whole country. This "national project" changed the "bamboo cable boat" to "iron cable boat", and cast four iron oxen on both sides of the Yellow River as fixed ground anchors.

These iron bulls are not ordinary bulls. The structure and function of the slanted column piles under them is a model of ancient bridge engineering. Under each iron cow, there are six long iron pillars connected with the body of the cow, which firmly penetrate into the ground. At the same time, the "foot" stretched out in the opposite direction on the pile increases the resistance and ensures the stability and firmness of the upper iron bull.

As the saying goes, "30 years to the east and 30 years to the west", it happened at the foot of iron cattle. About 500 years after the Yellow River Iron Bull stuck to his post, the floating bridge was destroyed and the Yellow River was diverted, gradually sinking into sediment. It was not until 1989 that it was re launched by archaeological excavation.

Today, thousands of years later, several modern bridges fly across the Yellow River like neon. Yellow River iron cattle have long lost the role of ground anchor, but they still maintain the momentum of "the vicissitudes of life have not changed the temperament of cattle, advance and retreat still rely on iron bones".

On the bank of Hukou Waterfall, where tourists are flocking, there is a photographer who specializes in taking pictures of the beautiful scenery of "One Pot of Yellow River in the World". His name is Lv Guiming. He lives on the bank of the Yellow River.

Lu Guiming has been shooting for more than 20 years, recording the gratifying changes of Hukou Waterfall. Lv Guiming said that the water quality of the Yellow River is getting better and better, and the sediment is getting less and less. For more than 20 years, it has become clear every year, and the time is getting longer and longer. For example, this year, the time of clear water may be two or three months.
On August 17, 2021, Lv Guiming shot the "Qingliu Waterfall" at Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River in Jixian County, Shanxi Province.
Ji County, where Lv Guiming is located, was once a key county in the national poverty alleviation and development work. Since the 1990s, the local government has increased the development and construction of Hukou Tourist Attraction. Many sons and daughters of the Yellow River like Lv Guiming have had a tourist meal.

Jixian County, located at 36 degrees north latitude, is one of the best apple breeding areas. Benefiting from this geographical advantage, the local industry chain led by Apple has gradually developed.
