BEIJING, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) According to the Syrian National News Agency on October 3, the United States continued to illegally steal oil in Syria and drove dozens of oil tankers to northern Iraq.
The Syrian National News Agency quoted sources as saying that on the morning of October 3 local time, a convoy of 48 oil tankers passed through the illegal border crossing point between Syria and Iraq to transport oil to the US military base in Iraq.
It is reported that the US military has stolen oil from hundreds of tankers. In August this year, the Syrian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources issued a statement saying that Syria's oil production in the first half of 2022 will be about 14.5 million barrels, with an average daily output of 80300 barrels, while the US military and its mercenaries steal as much as 66000 barrels of oil from the occupied oil fields in eastern Syria every day.
