For Hong Kong youth Ye Xinghua, this decade is a "decade of chasing the light".
In 2017, Ye Xinghua founded the "Gonghe Space" in Foshan, Guangdong, to share the resources of the mainland to Hong Kong and help Hong Kong and Macao youth to develop and start businesses in the mainland. People who build platforms like Ye Xinghua are also called "super contacts" of Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.
Ten years ago, Ye Xinghua chose to start his own business after graduating from University, but his attempt to start his own business failed. Invited by his friends, he came to Shenzhen for development and began his daily life in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
In just one year, Ye Xinghua has grown rapidly. After seeing the development opportunities and broad market in the mainland, he came up with the idea of building an entrepreneurial platform for Hong Kong and Macao youth.
In 2017, when the Industrial Cooperation Space was established, the Framework Agreement on Deepening Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Cooperation and Promoting the Construction of the Greater Bay Area was signed in Hong Kong under the witness of President Xi Jinping. This year, "Support Hong Kong and Macao to integrate into the national development" was also officially included in the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
Over the past few years, Ye Xinghua has witnessed the accelerating pace of integrating Hong Kong and Macao into the overall national development. After the opening of the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou Shenzhen Hong Kong High speed Railway, the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge connecting Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao was also officially opened, making it possible to build a "one hour metropolitan area".
Ye Xinghua found that he had more and more Hong Kong friends in Foshan. The Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area is attracting more and more young people from Hong Kong and Macao to go north to pursue their dreams.
