Yang Dasuo, deputy director of Nanjing Health Commission, reported that from 0-24 on July 25, 2021, there were 38 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nanjing, Among them, 8 cases were asymptomatic infected persons turned into confirmed cases, and the other 30 cases were found in the isolated and controlled population. One new asymptomatic infected person was found, all of whom were airport related personnel and close contacts and contacts of close contacts.
By 24:00 on July 25, the city had reported 75 locally confirmed cases (including 41 cases of mild, 32 cases of ordinary, and 2 cases of severe), and 13 cases of asymptomatic local infections. Of the 88 infected persons, 77 were in Jiangning, 6 in Lishui, and 1 in Xuanwu, Jianye, Qixia and Gaochun respectively. The newly confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected persons will continue to be announced through WeChat public accounts and microblogs such as "Nanjing Release" and "Healthy Nanjing".
As for medical treatment, Yang Dasuo said that up to now, 75 confirmed cases have been treated in Tangshan Hospital District (Nanjing Public Health Medical Center) of Nanjing Second Hospital, and 2 cases have changed from mild to severe. The patient's condition is still stable. At present, 13 asymptomatic infected persons are also under centralized isolation and medical management in Tangshan Hospital District of Nanjing Second Hospital.
