Mi Feng, spokesman of the National Health Commission, said when introducing the characteristics of the current round of epidemic in China, the epidemic is characterized by long duration, wide coverage, fast transmission, large age of patients, and high proportion in rural areas. In some places, community transmission and multi generation transmission have emerged.
After the onset of winter, the global epidemic has become increasingly severe. The occurrence of local clusters and sporadic cases in many local areas is a reflection of the huge pressure on China's epidemic prevention and control. Feng Zijian, deputy director of the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said that in the face of the upcoming Spring Festival, the large turnover of personnel will also increase the risk of epidemic transmission; The risk of virus contamination of imported cold chain food and other goods should also be warned under low temperature conditions. If relevant measures are well implemented, large-scale epidemic rebound will not occur.
The disease control department has made health reminders for many times, reminding citizens not to meet, gather together or visit, wash their hands frequently, wear masks and keep ventilated, maintain a safe social distance of one meter, and do a good job of personal health monitoring. In case of fever, dry cough and other symptoms, wear medical masks to go to the nearest fever clinic for medical treatment in a timely manner, and take the initiative to inform medical personnel of their travel history, contact history, etc, It is convenient for timely troubleshooting.
