Now let's get to the point. There are thousands of website programs, and we can't explain every kind of website program in detail, but the principle is the same. Today we will take the dream program with the highest usage rate and relatively complicated moving program as an example to do in-depth tutorial explanation. General steps for website relocation: backup the database, package the website, change the domain name binding, upload the website to a new space, and restore the work.

1. Backup database

Generally, the background of the program has the function of backing up the database, so you can go to the corresponding place in the background of the website for backup operations, as shown in the following figure:

If there is no backup function in the background, you need to export the database to the local database from the database management program PhpMyAdmin, as shown in the following figure:

2. Package website

First, package the source code of the website. The best packaging file format is zip compression, and then download it locally through FTP software. If it is a dream program, you need to do one more thing: go to the install folder and find three files: install_lock.txt, module-install.php.bak, and index.php.bak. Then delete the install_lock.txt file, and delete the module-install.php.bak, index.php.bak. This step is called unlocking. As shown below:

3. Change domain name resolution

Enter the domain name resolution management office of the domain name service provider to modify the resolution record, bind the domain name to the new space address, and then go to the server or host control panel to bind the domain name to the current space.

4. Upload website program

Upload the packaged website source code to the root directory of the website with FTP (if it is a server, it can be uploaded directly to the root directory of the website), and then unzip it. The browser accesses our domain name/install/index.php to reinstall the dream website. If the original website has no backup function in the background, you need to import the previously exported database to the current database through the database import function of the host or server.

5. Restore Database

After installation, log in to the background - system - restore the database - select all - click Start to restore the database - click Generate after restore - update the website with one click - generate the home page, and our website relocation is complete. As shown in the figure:
