Welcome to The Open Group ArchiMate ® Forum, Members Collaboration Site What is the ArchiMate Language? The ArchiMate Specification, a standard of The Open Group, is an open and independent modeling language for Enterprise Architecture that is supported by different tool vendors and consulting firms. The ArchiMate visual modeling notation leverages your Enterprise Architecture practice and helps you describe and understand complex systems. The ArchiMate Forum, who are we, and what do we do? The ArchiMate Forum is the platform for organizations holding a membership with The Open Group, that allows for involvement in the evolution of the ArchiMate graphical modeling language. Members want to actively support the use, dissemination, and further development of the ArchiMate language. Commercial Licensing: If you wish to use the ArchiMate 3.1 Specification for commercial purposes, then your organization must have a current ArchiMate 3.1 Specification Annual Commercial License. This applies to both members and non-members of The Open Group ArchiMate Forum. Commercial purposes include, by way of example, but are not limited to use involving the commercial use of the Documentation. This includes, but is not limited to, the provision of ArchiMate training, training materials, training-related services, and products or tools for commercial gain. For the avoidance of doubt, the use of Documentation for writing books or the provision of consultancy services does not require a commercial license.
