Virtual Machine Manager (HME) product strategy adjustment announcement
Dear Baidu smart cloud users, due to the product strategy adjustment, from September 22, 2023, Baidu smart cloud host steward will stop new purchase and configuration change services, and adjust the product renewal strategy:
If your cluster expires before November 30, 2023, you can still choose to renew it monthly, but in principle, the expiration time after renewal should not exceed December 31, 2023.
If your cluster expires after December 31, 2023, you can continue to use the product, but please note that according to the latest policy, it cannot be renewed after expiration.
Please do a good job of cluster migration in time. Recommended operations:
Scheme I: EIP+applied BLB
Apply for an EIP and an application type BLB, bind the EIP to the BLB, and use the BCC as the back-end server (RS) of the application type BLB, and route requests for different domain names to different sites through the application type BLB.
Scheme II: EIP+Agency
Apply for one or more EIPs for each BCC, and run proxy services on the virtual machine, such as nginx. Through the proxy, requests for different domain names are routed to different sites.
