Because the RDP client provided with Windows does not support the proxy function, it is very difficult to connect to foreign servers. To solve this problem, we can use third-party RDP tools, such as the Parallel RDP Client. This tool not only supports Socket5/HTTP proxy, but also can be used on multiple platforms.
About RDP protocol
Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is a protocol developed by Microsoft to provide users with remote access to the desktop environment of Windows infrastructure. RDP is a multi-channel protocol, which can transmit data, audio and video information at the same time. This allows users to run applications and operating systems on remote devices, just as they operate directly on local devices.

Fill in the server information according to the following figure.
Switch to "Network Options", check "Use Proxy Server", and choose to use Socket5 or HTTP proxy according to your own situation.
After setting, we can connect to the target RDP server (Windows Server) through the proxy server, so as to alleviate the problem that the direct connection to foreign servers is stuck.
