Is it necessary to file?
ICP filing mainly depends on whether the server parsed by your website or app and other Internet information services is in the mainland of China (Mainland). If the server is in the mainland of China (Mainland), you must complete the ICP filing before you can provide external services. If the server is located in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other countries and regions, the ICP filing of MIIT is not required, only the online filing of public security is required. see Necessity of filing 。
Do you want to file in Alibaba Cloud?
If you want to resolve the domain name to Alibaba Cloud's mainland (China) servers and provide Internet information services, you need to submit a filing application in Alibaba Cloud to view ICP Filing Process 。
Warm reminder: Non AliCloud registered domain names can submit ICP filing applications in AliCloud. The filing is mainly related to the server provider.
What is the impact of not filing?
ICP filing provided by Alibaba Cloud includes website filing and app filing:
If you do not complete the website filing in Alibaba Cloud, you will be identified by Alibaba Cloud monitoring system and blocked from accessing the website if you directly resolve the domain name to Alibaba Cloud mainland (mainland) servers, prompting you to complete the filing operation first.
If you fail to complete the App filing, it will affect the launch of the App in the mobile app market.
How many domain names can be filed at a time?
The number of websites or apps for filing varies from province to province, but the multiple websites or apps required for ICP filing need to be related to the corresponding filing subject. see Rules for ICP Filing Website of Regional Administrations 。
