During the whole working process, there is no obvious time for thinking. As long as you do not leave your seat, the sound of the keyboard will be continuous. I think the key to the talent lies in the fact that the program is not written but assembled by using statement blocks like using statements, which results in a huge productivity difference like manual assembly of Rolls Royce and modular assembly of Toyota.
I didn't work on the same floor with Niu Ren at that time, and I seldom had the chance to contact him. I once ate in the downstairs canteen and just sat at the next table. I heard Niu Ren talk about a past event. For many years, Niu Ren had to bring his own hard disk with several gigabytes of programs he had done before, no matter where he worked. Once this hard disk suddenly stuck, Niu Ren told his wife, Let's go back to our hometown to do something else. It didn't take too long, but the hard disk recovered itself, so Niuren finally didn't go back to his hometown.
