Samsung will launch smart home smart home platform in the world

Samsung launched smart home smart home platform at CES in 2014. Samsung is about to begin releasing the platform globally, initially in South Korea, followed by the United States and other countries.

The platform helps users manage connected appliances and devices, including TVs and washing machines, through a unified application, as long as these devices are in the same WiFi network.

Samsung said users could "good night" to the TV remote control and then turn off other connected devices, such as smart light bulbs. This feature will be available in the second half of this year. Samsung also plans to expand its smart home platform to other devices, including automatic vacuum cleaners and gear fit.

In South Korea, this platform will appear in Samsung's 2014 smart TV. Other devices supporting this platform include Q9000 air conditioner, bubbleshot 3 w9000 washing machine, gear 2, and smart phones with Android 4.0 and above.

In the U.S. market, products supporting this platform will include Samsung smart French door refrigerator, smart front loading washing machine, all 2014 smart TVs, gear 2, and smart phones equipped with Android 4.0 and above.
