On April 27, the "2024 China Science Fiction Research Center Annual Conference and Results Conference" was held in Beijing Shougang Park. The conference was organized by the China Science Fiction Research Center, the Science Fiction Professional Committee of the China Association of Popular Science Writers, supported by the China Institute of Science Popularization, the China Association of Popular Science Writers, the Institute of Contemporary China and the World, co organized by the Zhongguancun Science Fiction Industry Innovation Center, and attended by nearly 100 academics, industry and media.

The conference mainly included the release of results, work summary, the establishment of the academic committee of China Science Fiction Research Center, and the sharing of special reports.

During the achievement release, Wang Ting, director of the China Science Fiction Research Center, released and interpreted the Report on Overseas Communication of China Science Fiction (2018-2023). He pointed out that in the process of "going out" of Chinese culture, the international communication of Chinese science fiction is diversified, networked and three-dimensional, and its overseas influence is gradually increasing. Chinese science fiction is becoming a new cultural force rising globally.

Subsequently, Wu Yan, deputy director of China Science Fiction Research Center, and Gao Dawei, general manager of the digital public opinion department of Tencent, jointly released the "Three Body" IP Seagoing Observation Report. The report introduces the overall trend of the overseas dissemination of "three body" IP, the characteristics of audiences at home and abroad, and the value of Chinese science fiction "going abroad" for cultural and scientific communication.

In the work summary, Chen Ling, Executive Deputy Director of China Science Fiction Research Center, introduced the achievements, progress and future development of China Science Fiction Research Center since its establishment. At present, the Center has established a sound academic development, talent training and exchange platform system, and has launched the "China Science Fiction Development Yearbook" and "Research on Regional Science Fiction Industry Development" The multi-dimensional science fiction research achievements, such as the Youth Science Fiction Education Guide and World Science Fiction Trends, provide important references for decision-making, industry development and academic research of relevant departments.

The China Science Fiction Research Center has appointed 17 representatives from all walks of life as members of the Academic Committee. The Academic Committee will guide the development of the China Science Fiction Research Center and make overall plans to promote the China Science Fiction Research Center to a new level.
