Looking back after the success, Shi Jinglong was more impressed by the team's tenacity and tenacity.

"At present, commercial vehicles are facing the transformation of lightweight, and the graphite bipolar plate, as the framework of the fuel cell engine of commercial vehicles, also needs to reduce weight." Shi Jinglong said that the way to reduce the volume of the graphite bipolar plate is to compress its thickness.

But this high-precision manufacturing technology has been in the hands of foreigners before.

At first, in order to make the "ultra-thin" graphite bipolar plate as soon as possible, Shi Jinglong had communicated with foreign suppliers, but when they mentioned the key technical parameters, they no longer paid attention to Shi Jinglong. This made him realize that to make his own things, he must rely on his own research and development. "I have to fight for the national automobile brand, and can't be subject to foreign countries!"

It is very difficult to create something out of nothing. The success depends on the drive of Shi Jinglong's team.

"The atmosphere of our team was like this at that time. Everyone was working hard to overcome this problem, and everyone was eager to use their wisdom to contribute to the team." Having never been exposed to this technology, the Jinglong team tried it little by little. In that year, we were almost constantly adjusting parameters and repeatedly trying to cut. According to Shi Jinglong's incomplete statistics, the team has experimented at least thousands of times.

"At present, the technology of graphite bipolar plate has reached the leading domestic and international level, and has also won the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award."
