CAMCE News On April 28, the speech contest of "Chinese Dream, Labor Beauty -- Strive to be a Struggler on a New Journey" was held by the Federation of Trade Unions of Changdao Comprehensive Experimental Zone, Yantai City, Shandong Province. The competition received strong support and cooperation from all departments and towns (streets) in the region. The 10 finalists were selected in the preliminary contest and stood out from the 23 finalists. On the scene of the finals, the contestants closely followed the theme of "Chinese Dream, Labor Beauty -- Striving to be the Strugglers on a New Journey", combined with their own job responsibilities and job realities, or talked about it in a gentle way, or expressed it with passion, vividly told the struggle stories based on their jobs and rooted in the island with full emotions and affectionate words, and praised the spirit of model workers and the power of example. The judges gave a comprehensive score according to the speech content, language expression, appearance and other criteria, and selected one first prize, three second prizes and six third prizes.
According to the relevant person in charge of the trade union, the speech contest fully demonstrated the spirit of the workers in all walks of life in the Long Island Comprehensive Experimental Zone, which stimulated the enthusiasm of the workers to forge ahead, love their jobs and strive for excellence. The Federation of Trade Unions of the Long Island Comprehensive Experimental Zone will continue to carry out activities such as reading sharing and reading meetings with distinctive features, further stimulate the initiative and creativity of all employees in the region to devote themselves to the construction of the "blue granary" marine economic development zone, and gather the ideological basis and great strength of the majority of employees to work together.
