In order to warmly celebrate the May Day International Labor Day, gather the strength of workers, show their style, and create a strong atmosphere of advocating labor, solidarity and dedication, and work hard, on April 28, the Federation of Trade Unions of Caofeidian District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, joined hands with the Publicity Department of Caofeidian District Party Committee, Caofeidian District Party Committee of the Communist Youth League Caofeidian District Financial Media Center held the "May Day" staff culture and art festival at the activity center of Caofeidian Vocational and Technical College.

At the activity site, 16 literary and artistic works from all walks of life in the region were collected, including poetry recitation of "Forward! Labourers", "Beautiful Tangshan", "Uphold the Spring of Caofeidian", skill performance "Road Traffic Command Gesture", traditional Sichuan Opera face changing, creative sand painting performance, and song "We Workers Have Power". Various forms of programs were staged in turn, and the performers devoted themselves to bring a new and wonderful audio-visual feast to the audience. Most of these programs take labor as the theme, and are compiled, directed and performed by employees themselves. Each performance tells the story of the struggle of the employees in their own industry from the unique perspective of the employees, and blooms their own glory on the stage. On the stage, the performance vividly demonstrated the staff's self-confidence, self-improvement, achievement and enterprising spirit. The whole venue became a hall of joy for the staff.

The event invited model labor representatives from all walks of life, advanced worker representatives, traffic police members and front-line staff representatives of enterprises and institutions to watch the performance. The whole performance showed the demeanor of workers from all walks of life and the fruitful results achieved through labor. The purpose of this art performance is to show the uplifting spirit of the workers in the district, eulogize the great model worker spirit, labor spirit, craftsman spirit, and stimulate the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the workers in all walks of life in the district to forge ahead.
