On the day of the signing ceremony, the two sides announced the launch of the "National Treasure Global Digital Museum", "China New Cultural and Creative" theme exhibition and other projects.

The first batch of 25 high-quality cultural relics were added to the "National Treasure Global Digital Museum"

On the day of signing, Tencent announced the launch of the "National Treasure Global Digital Museum". As a top cultural institution that collects Asian cultural relics, the National Museum of Asian Art in Guimei, France, has reached a cooperation with Tencent, and its selected 25 high-quality Chinese cultural relics have become the first batch of digital collections of the "National Treasure Global Digital Museum". The Baoyuan Ji blue glazed plum vase with white dragon pattern, the jade pig dragon with a history of more than 5000 years, the largest animal type statue in the world at present - elephant statue, the three color arhat statue of the Liao Dynasty, and the white jade tiger of the Western Han Dynasty are all listed here.

The "National Treasure Global Digital Museum" was launched by Tencent and is aimed at top museums at home and abroad, especially those overseas museums that are difficult for Chinese tourists to visit due to geographical and economic conditions. Through cooperation authorization, the Chinese treasures and cultural relics in the museum are digitized. Online tourists can understand the introduction and picture display of cultural relics through Tencent's "Museum Officer" applet, QQ browser and other display and communication platforms, and enjoy the handed down national treasures across geographical restrictions by moving their fingertips. It is reported that its first collection will be launched in the "Museum Officer" applet during the Spring Festival, and the information category of the collection will be further enriched and improved.

 

French museums include excellent creative works of Chinese youth

The two sides will also work together to promote Chinese youth creativity on the world stage. The Next Idea Tencent Innovation Contest, which has been held for seven consecutive times, is a platform for mining, inspiring, cultivating and incubating youth creativity and activating traditional culture. Based on the introduction of Chinese symbols such as the Forbidden City and Dunhuang, the 2018 event is the first time to cooperate with the French museum community and introduce overseas cultural IP such as the Mona Lisa to further stimulate the creative vitality of Chinese youth.

At the signing ceremony, the French National Museum Federation announced that it would be included in the award-winning work "The Silk Road Range Rover" of the judges of Tencent Next Idea Cultural Creative Design Competition; The National Asian Art Museum of Kyrgyzstan and the United States received the gold prize work "The Fifth Great Invention" from the Tencent Next Idea University Game Production Competition and the Dunhuang Flying Rock Paintings "Glory of the King". These works will have the opportunity to be exhibited in the museum in the future; Cultural and creative products based on the Mona Lisa and Dunhuang elements will also enter the cultural and creative shop of the French Museum, allowing visitors from all over the world to experience the creativity of Chinese youth.

Among them, the theme board game "Range Rover on the Silk Road" is based on the ancient Chinese game "Range Rover", taking the Hexi Corridor as the regional background, integrating classic stories of the Tang Dynasty, so that players can understand the history and culture of Dunhuang on the Silk Road. The design inspiration of the space puzzle game "The Fifth Invention" is derived from the "tenon and mortise" structure of traditional Chinese architecture, allowing players to experience the charm of traditional architectural culture in the game experience.

 

The theme exhibition of "China's new culture and innovation" was unveiled in the Jimei Museum  

As one of the cooperation contents, Tencent and the Jimei National Asian Art Museum jointly unveiled the theme exhibition of "China's New Culture and Innovation" on the eve of the Spring Festival, displaying the cultural customs of the "Spring Festival", the creative works of Chinese youth based on traditional cultural IP, and Tencent's representative works integrating scientific and technological elements and traditional culture.

At the exhibition site, in the exhibition area of the Forbidden City, visitors will enjoy the excellent works produced by the Next Idea Music Innovation Competition of "Ancient Painting Will Sing", and appreciate the artistic conception of the combination of millennium ancient paintings and digital music; The popular cartoon "Echo of the Forbidden City" produced by the Next Idea Contest tells a moving story about the people in the Forbidden City protecting national treasures during the Anti Japanese War; In the Dunhuang exhibition area, based on the caisson murals in Mogao Grottoes, the "Dunhuang poem towel" integrates 8 theme elements and more than 200 detail elements. The exhibition content of the historical customs of the "Spring Festival" is also rich.
