Poznan International Exhibition of Labor Protection, Fire Protection and Rescue Equipment in Poland is a professional labor protection and fire protection exhibition organized by Poznan International Exposition Co., Ltd., the largest exhibition in Poland and the second largest exhibition in Central and Eastern Europe. At the same time, as the only labor protection and fire protection exhibition in Poland and the largest and most important one in Central and Eastern Europe, it attracts a large number of exhibitors and visitors every year. The degree of internationalization of the exhibition is very high, with 26% of exhibitors from other countries, and professional visitors from Poland and surrounding countries.
Geographical location and advantages: Poland is located in the northeast of Central Europe, with a superior geographical position. Located in the center of Europe, Poland borders Russia, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine in the north and east, the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the south, and Germany in the west. It is a link between East and West Europe, a shortcut to other countries in Central and Eastern Europe, and a land and water transportation hub. Poland has a population of nearly 40 million, more than the combined population of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, and is the sixth largest country in Europe. Poland's superior geographical location enables its radiation population to reach 50% of the total population of Europe.
Economic status: Poland is one of the countries in the Central and Eastern European region that have been more successful in economic transition. Poland's economy has maintained a high growth trend in recent years. The Polish government has taken measures to reduce the burden of enterprises, increase support for small and medium-sized enterprises, and expand investment in infrastructure construction to promote economic growth and employment. According to the statistical report recently released by the European Commission, from 2007 to 2012, Poland was the fastest growing country among the 27 EU countries, with its gross domestic product (GDP) growing 18.1% accumulatively compared with that before the European debt crisis, while the EU economy shrank 0.8% over the same period. In 2012, the EU economy continued to decline, but Poland's GDP increased by 2.3% year-on-year to US $478.2 billion, ranking first among EU countries and twice the average economic growth of other member countries. Therefore, on the international stage, Poland's development has immeasurable potential.
