◆ Exhibition overview:

Kazakhstan International Building Materials Exhibition is the largest and most influential building materials exhibition in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. It is a star rated exhibition certified by the International Exhibition Industry Association (UFI). The exhibition was supported by many parties, including the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan; Kazakhstan Construction Committee Almaty City Hall, etc.

Chinese enterprises have participated in the exhibition since 2006, and now many enterprises have participated in the exhibition year after year. Kazakhstan is the gateway to the Central Asian market. The 24th Kazakhstan International Building Materials Exhibition in 2017 covers an area of 100000 square meters. In 2018, the exhibition has five themes: Ceramics and Stone Kaz 2016 (ceramics and stones), Fenestration Kaz 2016 (doors and windows), Interiors 2016 (interior decoration materials), Kazbuild 2016 (building materials) and Aquatherm.

◆ Review of the last session:

In 2018, five pavilions were opened for the exhibition. The exhibition was strictly divided according to the product division, and the pavilions were not divided into primary and secondary pavilions. Among them, Hall 11 was the HVAC pavilion, Hall 10 and Hall 9 were ceramic and indoor and outdoor decoration materials pavilions, and Hall 9A and 9B were national pavilions, building materials and doors and windows pavilions. This exhibition attracted 525 exhibitors from 32 countries (367 enterprises related to building materials and 158 enterprises related to HVAC), including China, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, China, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, the Czech Republic and Italy. During the exhibition, the sponsor also organized many related seminars and new product launches to promote communication and cooperation between enterprises.

Under the national emerging "One Road One Belt" policy, Chinese enterprises in 2018 are extremely enthusiastic about participating in the exhibition, and the effect of participating in the exhibition is far beyond the expectations of exhibitors. In general, the effect of the whole exhibition group is much better than expected, especially the thermal insulation materials, thermal insulation doors and windows and glass, radiators, galvanized sheets, color coated rolls, ceramics and wallpaper and other products in the exhibition. Our return visit to the exhibitors shows that they are very satisfied with the effect of the exhibition.

◆ Market analysis:

Kazakhstan is rich in natural resources, especially oil resources. Known as the "Second Middle East", it is the country with the strongest economic strength and the most development potential among the five Central Asian countries. The comprehensive strength of the member countries in the Soviet period ranked third, only second to Russia and Ukraine. The forecast of Kazakhstan's social and economic development trend in 2015 shows that Kazakhstan's economy will still maintain a basic trend of high development in the medium term. Kazakhstan's economy is dominated by oil, natural gas, mining, coal, agriculture and animal husbandry. Processing industry and light industry are relatively backward. Most construction materials and equipment need to be imported. Kazakhstan's total investment in construction reached 22 billion US dollars in 2015, and is expected to reach 38 billion US dollars in 2020, with more than 60000 new residential buildings built every year. In addition, Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, will host the World Expo in 2017. The Kazakh government has promised to vigorously strengthen infrastructure construction before the Expo. In general, the demand for building materials in Kazakhstan is huge.
