The wind sweeps the Jianghu and the rain darkens the village. The sound of the four mountains makes the sea roll.
The stream firewood is soft and warm, and I and Linu don't go out.

The isolated village does not mourn for itself, and still thinks of being a national garrison of Luntai.
I lie in the night listening to the wind and rain, and the iron horse falls asleep.

The sky is dark, the strong wind is rolling the rain in the Jianghu, and the surrounding mountains are splashing with heavy rain like billows.
The small fire made by Xichai and the felt wrapped around him are very warm, and neither cat nor I want to go out.

Lying upright in the lonely and desolate countryside, I didn't feel sad for my situation, and I still wanted to defend the border for the country.
At the end of the night, I lay in bed and heard the sound of wind and rain. I dreamt that I was riding an armored horse across the frozen river to fight in the northern battlefield.

The first two sentences of the poem directly express the poet's own feelings. "Stiff lying" tells the old condition of the poet. "Isolated village" shows the state of isolation from the world. One is "stiff" and the other is "lonely". It is extremely desolate. Why not "mourn for yourself"? Because the poet's patriotic enthusiasm has reached the level of selflessness, and he has no longer paid attention to his personal health and living environment, but "still thinks of defending Luntai for the country", and still has the spirit of "an old hero is ambitious and ambitious".
