Several reasons why ECS cannot be shut down/restarted normally

In fact, this problem is often encountered when using personal computers or corporate servers, among which the Windows system is more common. We have roughly summarized several common reasons:

1. Defect of automatic shutdown program in system file. Suppose we enter the command in "Start/Run" “rundll32 user.exe, exitwindows” See if it can shut down normally. If the machine can be shut down normally under this command, it means that the automatic shutdown program may have some defects, and we should complete file patching in the corresponding project. If the patch file still does not solve the problem, you can only reinstall the system. While running “rundll32 user.exe, exitwindows” If the system fails to shut down normally, it may be that some system programs in the operating system are defective. The solution is still to repair the system or reinstall the system.

2. Viruses and some defective applications or system tasks may cause abnormal shutdown. First, you should check and kill the virus, and close all applications before shutdown. Since some applications are loaded when the system starts, you can enter commands in Start Start Run: “msconfig” Subtract the loaded programs one by one in order to see if there are files that affect the shutdown (effective after restart).

3. If the sound file is set to be used when Windows is shut down, it can also cause an abnormal shutdown when the file is damaged. Please select "Back to Windows" in "Control Panel/Sounds/Events" and set the sound name to "None".

4. The system is updating the patch, which takes too long or fails to update, causing the system to be suspended. In this case, a forced restart can be performed in the management background.

5. The shutdown failed because the application could not be ended normally. When an application in the ECS encounters an exception, the system will first try to end the application process when it shuts down normally. At this time, if the execution fails, it will result in an inability to shut down normally.

6. System files are missing. This situation is very common. Most of the system files are lost due to system poisoning, accompanied by other system failures. In this case, it is recommended to back up the data, reinstall the system, and scan the whole disk.
