In order to thoroughly implement the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the important statement of General Secretary Xi Jinping on women, children and the work of the Women's Federation, constantly improve the ability and level of prevention and resolution of marriage and family disputes, and further pool the joint efforts of prevention and resolution of marriage and family disputes, on the afternoon of April 19, 2024, the Rugao City Marriage and Family Dispute Mediation Promotion Conference was held in Jiuhua Town. Li Man, a member of the Party Leadership Group of Rugao Court, attended the meeting and made an exchange speech.

At the meeting, Li Man reported on the governance of marriage and family litigation sources in recent years and the mediation of family disputes in 2023 and the first quarter of this year, and put forward three suggestions. First, court stations should strengthen cooperation to achieve effective docking of litigation and mediation. Optimize the case diversion procedure according to local conditions, and improve the operating efficiency of the working mechanism. Second, the court should rely on the front guidance to improve the level of dispute resolution ability. The integration judges should enrich the forms of training and improve the mediation level of the dispute resolution team. Third, the team should continue to grow and form a pattern of joint management. Dig and absorb more "people who understand the law" to join the mediation team, and form a good atmosphere to jointly promote a harmonious society.

Wang Guilan, the chief mediator of Wang Guilan's Family Mediation Studio, conducts mediation training from the aspects of why family disputes should be adjusted, the characteristics of family disputes, mediation skills and how to adjust, combined with the analysis of typical cases.

In recent years, Rugao Court has taken the initiative to integrate into grass-roots social governance, deepened the construction of "integration court", built a "1+6+N" mechanism for Wang Guilan's family mediation and a docking mechanism for litigation and mediation of marriage and family disputes, and continued to promote the governance of marriage and family litigation sources. With the cooperation of Wang Guilan, the chief mediator, women's federation cadres, old aunt mediators, town and street people's mediators, Ronghe judges and other forces, the marriage and family disputes have been resolved significantly. In 2023, six Wang Guilan family mediation workstations will receive 3773 cases, with a success rate of 31.42%. In the first quarter of 2024, 1350 cases were received, with a success rate of 29.94%.
