Special provisions for international application of industrial designs are added, which are in line with the Hague Agreement on International Registration of Industrial Designs (1999 text). It is clarified that the international application for design is regarded as an application for a patent for design filed with the patent administration department under the State Council, and provisions are made to link it with the domestic patent application system for design in terms of priority requirements, novelty grace period, divisional applications, etc.
