In the morning of April 30, Yang Lei, the head of the fourth station of Beihu of the City Running Rabbit Commerce and Trade Co., Ltd., handed a copy of the takeout to the customer, looked down at the order information on the mobile phone, turned around and hurried downstairs, rode on the electric car, and started the delivery of the next order.

Born in 1991, Yang Lei has been working as a delivery clerk for many years. He has been promoted from a delivery clerk to a stationmaster all the way and has a stable income. However, Yang Lei has set himself a "rule": at least three days of delivery work every week. "The main thing is to carry out research. How long does it take for a business to serve a meal, whether it is easy to deliver a meal, and what problems will be encountered, all of which need to be understood on the spot," Yang Lei told reporters.

On one occasion, the deliveryman in Yang Lei's station reported to him that a drink package of a certain merchant was not plastic sealed, so it was not only vulnerable to pollution on the way to delivery, which brought potential risks to customers, but also easy to overflow, increasing the difficulty of delivery. After field investigation, Yang Lei immediately negotiated with the merchants on this issue and urged them to plastic wrap the drinks. On another occasion, Yang Lei found that the system sent orders from merchants beyond the delivery range to their stations, which led to the difficulty of the long journey of the deliveryman. Yang Lei timely fed back this situation to the relevant staff and told the other party about the more reasonable regional division scheme he obtained from his research, which made the other party praise him greatly.

"The working advantage of meal attendants is their strong mobility, so we should give play to our strengths and make more contributions to the city." This is what Yang Lei often said when training meal attendants, and he has been doing this for many years. As a member of the Communist Party, he realized that his duty was not just to deliver good delivery. Although he was in a hurry to deliver meals, he would always stop to help whenever he met someone in difficulty. When meeting residents who lift heavy objects in the community, he volunteered to come forward to help; When meeting an old man with difficulty in moving on the road, he will take the initiative to help him. He provides errand running services for the "orphan, elderly, sick and disabled" in the community, cleans up the garbage and "wild advertisements" in the corridor, and helps distribute the civilization leaflets. He also reported and fed back to relevant units to deal with the side events that affect people's lives, such as the loss of manhole covers, water overflow, and the failure of corridor lights, by means of "casual shooting", so as to contribute to urban governance. In 2023, Yang Lei was selected as a super model worker in Changchun.

"The award of honor has added to my love for the profession of delivery service." Yang Lei said that the profession does not matter whether it is high or low. In the future, he will strive to contribute more to the city's happiness on the basis of doing his own job well.
