"First of all, we should make clear the purpose of formulating this plan, and take the lead in launching a charge for more intelligent, greener and more comfortable EMU technology." On the 1st, Wang Chengqiang, a senior engineer of CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd., gave up his holiday and came to CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Engineering Research Center early. He has always been worried about a major event - to conquer the new product design as soon as possible, and to hold the new heavy National May Day Labor Medal on his chest with a new answer sheet.

Wang Chengqiang is famous for his meticulous work. From witnessing the online test of the first batch of "Harmony" EMUs, helping the landing of "Fuxing" Chinese standard EMUs with full independent intellectual property rights, to participating in the completion of the first commercial operation of "Fuxing" in the world at 350 kilometers per hour... He successfully joined the "technical leader" of China's high-speed railway with 17 years of time and hard work.

"When I first went to work, I learned from my predecessors and wondered in my heart when we could develop our own EMUs."! In May 2014, with the appointment of "Fuxing" as the model design director of China's standard EMUs, Wang Chengqiang really embarked on the road of independent innovation to help "Fuxing" travel thousands of miles, and his dream also began to step by step into reality - according to China's national conditions, road conditions and passenger needs, he participated in the formulation of Chinese standards, so that China's standard EMUs can achieve greater riding space More comfortable technological leapfrogging; When the space is large, the resistance increases, and the lightweight of the train becomes a just need. He also racked his brains to lead the team to solve the contradiction between resistance and speed, so that the "Fuxing" with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour successfully reduced the running resistance by 6%; Then, under the high temperature of 40 ℃, he took the lead in planning and reviewing the 420km/h EMU rendezvous test... "At the moment of the success of the test, I was very excited, and unconsciously shouted, 'Our children are so competitive!'" When he said this, Wang Chengqiang expressed his happiness.

In Wang Chengqiang's view, if China's high-speed railway wants to maintain its leading position, it must constantly develop new technologies and new products. "High speed rail is an important manifestation of new quality productivity. As research and development personnel, we need to use subversive cutting-edge technology to promote new industries, new models, new drivers, and accelerate the formation of new quality productivity." Wang Chengqiang told reporters that what he is doing is to equip China's high-speed rail with "smart brain" to show more intelligent, green, and comfortable advantages, Let "Made in China" drive to a broader world.
