The power battery project, a joint venture between FAW and BYD, with a total investment of 18 billion yuan, was officially completed and put into operation on February 2 this year. The project is the first new energy vehicle power battery strategic base in Northeast China. According to the production capacity planning of 45 GWh in the third phase, 15 GWh will be built in each phase, and nearly 600000 vehicles can be equipped with blade batteries after all of them are put into production.

A number of major projects, such as Ferdi Battery, have been completed and put into operation, forming new incremental support for the economic development of Jilin Province. The data shows that the fixed asset investment in Jilin Province increased by 6.3% in the first quarter, 1.8 percentage points higher than that of the whole country, and the growth rate was 6.0 percentage points faster than that of the whole year of last year; The number of newly started projects of more than 100 million yuan in the province increased by 10.7% over the same period last year, and the amount of completed investment increased by 37.1%.
