According to the spirit of the Notice of the General Office of the State Council on the Arrangement of Some Holidays in 2024, the specific arrangement of the May 1 International Labor Day holiday in 2024 is: a total of 5 days of compensatory leave from May 1 (Wednesday) to May 5 (Sunday). Go to work on April 28 (Sunday) and May 11 (Saturday).

During holidays, all organs, enterprises and public institutions should properly arrange their duty, safety, security and other work. In case of major emergencies, they should timely report and properly handle them as required to ensure that the people spend the holidays peacefully and safely.

From May 6 (Monday), the work and rest time of the provincial organs and units is:

8:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m

Lunch break 12:00~13:30

13:30-17:30 p.m

Organs and units directly under the municipal and district governments shall implement the following work and rest schedules:

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m

Lunch break 12:00~13:30

13:30-18:00 p.m

All enterprises and institutions can arrange their own work and rest time.
