1. Description
The safety declaration and the relevant device documents constitute the complete information for safe operation, commissioning and testing. Before any operation on the device, the user must be familiar with the contents of this safety statement and the rated parameters of the device nameplate.
2. Health and safety
The normal and safe operation of the device depends on proper transportation, handling, correct storage, installation and commissioning, as well as careful operation, maintenance and repair. Therefore, only qualified personnel can operate or work on the device. Qualified personnel are:
——Personnel who are familiar with the installation, commissioning and operation of the device and the connected system;
——Personnel who can operate in accordance with recognized safety engineering practices and are authorized to carry out electrification, power failure, isolation, grounding and tag out operations on the device;
——Personnel trained in the use of safety equipment;
——Personnel trained in first aid.
Installation, commissioning and operation of the device are described in the device documentation. However, the manual cannot cover all the desired situations or all the details. In case of problems or special circumstances, no action shall be taken without proper authorization.
3. Installation, commissioning and maintenance of equipment

a) Strictly follow the relevant national and power industry safety regulations. When working in a high voltage environment, take it seriously to avoid personal injury or equipment damage;
b) Do not touch the circuit during operation, which may cause fatal voltage and current;
c) After removing the device panel, avoid touching the circuit. The device contains electronic circuits, which may be damaged if exposed to static electricity. The electronic circuit may also contain fatal dangerous voltage;
d) The device must be connected to the protective ground regardless of the operating conditions. This is also applicable to some special occasions, such as desktop test demonstration and offline configuration. Operating the device without proper grounding may damage the device or cause injury;
e) During normal operation, it is strictly prohibited to disconnect or connect wires or connectors connected to terminals, which may lead to fatal dangerous voltage and current, and may also interrupt the operation of equipment, damage terminals and measuring circuits;
f) It is forbidden to disconnect the secondary circuit of current transformer without short circuiting its secondary winding. When the secondary winding of the running current transformer is open circuited, dangerous high voltage will be generated, which may damage the transformer and may also cause personal injury;
g) When the device is electrified or connected to the electrified circuit, it is forbidden to remove the front panel, which may cause fatal voltage and current.
a) The certified anti-static bag shall be used when transporting the modules of the device. When operating or processing the module, the conductive wrist ring sleeve shall be used to connect with the protective ground and operate on the appropriate anti-static surface. Electrostatic discharge (ESD) may cause module damage;
b) Do not connect the device with the live wire, which may damage the internal circuit of the device;
c) During the installation and commissioning of the device, be careful if you touch the device or its wiring to avoid electric shock.
