An old thread bound book 101 years ago recorded the history of revolutionary martyr Yu Xiusong, who lived and ate together with workers, organized trade unions, and publicized socialism. It also recorded the establishment process of China's first communist group, as well as the historical details of Chen Wangdao asking Yu Xiusong to send the translated Communist Manifesto to Chen Duxiu.

Zou Qiang, the curator of Shanghai Longhua Martyrs Memorial Museum, introduced the story behind Yu Xiusong's diary at the launching ceremony of the major theme publicity activity of "Shining the Light of Faith with Youth" held recently.

"The purpose of commemoration is to never forget. The keepsake is wordless, and the original intention is surging." Zou Qiang said, "Today, through these precious keepsakes, we feel the original intention of the Communist Party pioneers. Their original intention is integrated into the gene and blood of the Communist Party, and finally achieved our great cause today."
