Recently, the International Volleyball Federation released the latest issue of the world rankings of men's and women's volleyball. The Chinese women's volleyball team, which had previously ranked first, dropped to second place with 320 points, and Serbia, the new champion of the World Championships, achieved a comeback to first place with 322 points.

According to the rules of the International Volleyball Federation, the volleyball teams of the Tokyo Olympic Games will be divided into two stages. The first stage is the qualification match of the world group, which will produce six places. Except the host team, Japan, the top 24 teams in the world are divided into six groups according to the snake shape of the world ranking. Four teams in each group play a single round robin game. The first place in each group gets a ticket to the Tokyo Olympic Games. The second stage is the qualifiers of five continents. Europe, Asia and Oceania, Central North America and the Caribbean, Africa and South America will decide a team to compete in the Tokyo Olympic Games through the qualifiers.

According to the current ranking, the Serbian women's volleyball team is likely to enter Group A, and the Chinese women's volleyball team will enter Group B. In addition to Serbia, Puerto Rico, Thailand and Cuba are likely to be the former. China is likely to be attacked by Turkey, Germany, Czech Republic and other strong European enemies, and each game will be a life and death battle related to the overall situation. However, the final grouping will be confirmed by the official news of FIVB next year.
