The center of this year's No. 27 typhoon "Tochi" (tropical storm level) is still located on the southwest sea surface of the South China Sea about 365 kilometers east of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam at 8 o'clock this morning (18th), that is, 11.0 degrees north latitude and 110.0 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is 8 degrees (18 meters/second), the minimum pressure at the center is 1002 hpa, and the radius of the seventh level wind circle is 70-160 kilometers.

It is expected that "Tochi" will move westward at the speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will slowly weaken, gradually moving towards the southern coast of Vietnam. It will land on the above-mentioned coast around this evening (tropical depression, level 7, 14-16 m/s), and its intensity will be significantly weakened in the future.

Gale forecast: From 14:00 on the 18th to 14:00 on the 19th, the wind force in the southwest of the South China Sea and the southeast coast of Vietnam will still reach 6-7, and gusts in some sea areas and regions will reach 8-9.
