Meet at Jiaotong University in the golden autumn. On September 15, 2018, our 2018 alumni return to school activity was successfully held. Nearly 500 alumni from the 88th, 98th, and 08th classes gathered in the Red Orchard to recall the youth, talk about the joy of life, count the light and shadow flow in the warm embrace and cordial greetings, and feel the precipitation and joy of the years of reunion.

We will live up to our youth and dreams. After ten years of absence, we will meet again with full memories. At nearly eight o'clock in the morning, alumni successively arrived at the South Gate Grove to report for duty and review the moment of first acquaintance. The leaders, teachers and volunteer students of the college completed the preparatory work early and warmly welcomed every alumnus. Alumni scanned the code to sign in, received special gifts such as badges, photo albums and gift bags with student ID card photos one by one, and took photos with their long departed classmates, teachers and friends one after another. In addition, the college souvenirs "Jingjing", "Guanguan" and customized Xiaoxiong souvenir shirts were placed in front of Siyuan East Building as charity gifts. Every sum of money paid by alumni was injected into the fund of the School of Economics and Management for the development and construction of the college, further conveying the gratitude of alumni for their alma mater and their responsibility.

Once a classmate, decades of love. Under the careful organization of the college, the alumni of the 88th, 98th and 08th undergraduate students went to the central lecture hall, the God Blessing Hall and the gymnasium to participate in the return celebration of the school. The alumni of the 98th junior college students and the 88th, 98th and 08th graduate students held discussions, exchanges and interactions in several classrooms in the East Building of Siyuan respectively. Students, alumni and teachers review the time of study and the road of youth together, and pick up those unforgettable memories of time and unspoken words and gratitude.

In addition, the industry alumni association also set up two parallel forums - logistics alumni salon and accounting and finance alumni salon, from Li Hong, senior partner of Daxin Certified Public Accountants (special general partnership), Zheng Qian, deputy general manager of Beijing Siyuan Times Technology Co., Ltd., and Wei Guangming, deputy general manager of China Railway Materials Group, The three keynote speakers shared academic salons entitled "Latest Changes and Hot Issues of Accounting Standards", "Value Creation Road of Management Accounting in the Digital Age" and "Practice and Thinking on Centralized Procurement Management of Materials for Large Construction Enterprises" for alumni and students respectively. Everyone discussed the hot spots in the industry and shared their experiences.

From the eighth floor to the ninth floor of Siyuan East Building, the memory gallery recording the history and good times of Jiaotong University is in front of us, which has witnessed the growth and development of our college and countless students all the way.

Looking Back, Reunion and Inheritance

After tasting the unforgettable lunch in the student canteen, at 13:00 p.m., the celebration meeting for the return of the 2018 alumni of our college to school was grandly opened in the God Blessing Hall. Gao Yan, Vice President, Guo Xuemeng, Secretary General of the Alumni Association, Zhang Qiusheng, Dean of the College, Cui Yongmei, Hua Guowei, Vice Dean, Wang Ying, Director of the Office and other college leaders, representatives of the industry alumni association and representatives of the old teachers of the School of Economics and Management attended the conference, and gathered with the 88th, 98th and 08th Alumni to share a warm moment. The ceremony was presided over by Wang Bin, an alumnus of Class 94-2 in property management, and Kang Zheming, an alumnus of Class 04-2 in industry and commerce.

The stirring "Inspiring Youth" opened the ceremony with a magnificent momentum and passionate rhythm. During the video broadcast, which included the highlights of our recent development and gathered many college and department leaders, teachers and representatives of each branch, the feelings of yearning and concern stirred my heart. The passionate and energetic song and dance performance of "Fantasy in Spring" spread youth and passion on the scene and successfully ignited the atmosphere of the scene.

President's speech

As the gatekeeper, gatekeeper and watchman of the School of Economics and Management, Dean Zhang Qiusheng welcomed the guests, teachers and students, and thanked the alumni for their contributions and support in the discipline evaluation. He introduced the development and achievements of the School of Economics and Management in recent years from 11 aspects, including the history of the School, student training, discipline setting, scientific research team, scientific research strategy, scientific research institutions, international exchanges, and international certification. President Zhang affectionately said that since he studied at Jiaotong University in 1983, he, like most of his classmates, has always cherished the motherland, faced the world and returned to Jiaotong University. In the future, it is expected that the School of Economics and Management, as an important part of Beijing Jiaotong University, will further improve its brand image and discipline ranking under the joint efforts of its alumni, and become a business school that truly leads the development of China's industry.

Teacher's Message

Everything is changing, but there is a strong sense of friendship, rooted in the heart, and never changed. At the ceremony, several teacher representatives came on stage to share their messages. I can remember the scene of yesterday's class. After four years of study, I went out of the campus with full knowledge and the dream of "revitalizing China". Thirty years later, you came back today, and the teacher gave you 100 points. Because "revitalizing China" has been realized, I hope you will continue to work hard to realize the "Chinese dream" tomorrow; After 30 years of fame and achievements, and through 800 miles of cloud and moon, we have gained regretless youth and a happy family. Please slow down your pace and leave more time for the health of yourself and your family. I wish you a more brilliant life in the future; You and I, who were ignorant at that time, grew up together. As time goes by, what remains unchanged is the deep feelings of classmates and teachers and students. I hope that this deep feeling will be the unity of knowledge and practice and will last forever; I wish the alumni a happy life and a promising career; I hope that alumni will continue to contribute to the development of their alma mater and college and often go home to see them. Commendation and interaction

A special commendation ceremony for alumni liaison officers was held on the spot to thank the alumni liaison officers for their hard work. In the process of lottery and alumni interaction, many alumni became lucky, successfully obtained the customized collection gifts provided by the college, and rekindled the feelings of Jiaotong University in the interaction of answering questions to review the history of Jiaotong University.

Since 2012, the School of Economics and Management has established accounting branch, financial branch, logistics branch and Gobi Club (with Gobi Challenge as the link, gathering alumni resources, exchanging and sharing sports experience, embracing healthy life), aiming to build a platform for business cooperation, ideological exchange, information sharing and healthy life for alumni, and combine rich resources inside and outside the school, Strengthen the links between alumni and schools, alumni and alumni, and alumni and current students, promote exchanges and cooperation between schools, colleges, alumni and alumni enterprises, and create a "Jiaotong University alumni ecosystem".
