According to Han Yanji, the head of the team office of the 35th Chinese Antarctic Expedition, the expedition team will supply aviation coal, food at the ship station and other expedition materials during docking, and transfer some scientific research materials. At the same time, 26 expedition members will board the ship here and go to the Antarctic with the team.

Shen Quan, the captain of the "Xuelong", said that after a short rest in Hobart, the "Xuelong" was scheduled to leave port in the evening of the 18th, cross the westerlies, and go to Zhongshan Station in Antarctica.
Since setting out from Shanghai on November 2, the Xuelong has sailed 5295 nautical miles (about 9806 kilometers).
