Xinhua News Agency, Zhengzhou, November 17 (Reporter Wang Shuo) The first third-generation (intelligent) disability card in Henan Province was issued in the government service of Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City a few days ago. This card will facilitate the disabled in daily travel, receiving subsidies, and enjoying rehabilitation treatment.
The third generation (intelligent) disabled card is similar to an ID card and has a validity period of 10 years. It is divided into red and blue cards. The red card is used for the visually disabled, and the blue card is used for other categories of disabled. The new generation of disabled card is packed with integrated circuit chips, which is a new type of intelligent certificate integrating identity recognition, business management, social services and other functions. Compared with the previous paper disability certificates, the third generation (intelligent) disability certificates can quickly and effectively identify the authenticity of certificates and inquire about disability subsidies.
It is reported that the third generation (intelligent) disability card can also use big data and other technical means to provide more personalized and accurate services for the disabled after upgrading in the later period. For example, the certificate can be used as a bank card, the disabled can enjoy employment training, use of public cultural facilities and other services provided by the government with the card, and can also take buses, parks, etc. to achieve "one card in hand, all services".
It is reported that there are more than 2.68 million disabled persons with certificates in Henan Province. According to the relevant person in charge of Henan Disabled Persons' Federation, the handling of disability certificates in Henan Province has achieved "One Network Access", which can achieve full coverage of the province's intelligent disability certificates within two years.
