Shenzhen, September 20 (reporter Li Jianguang) focuses on targeted poverty alleviation and creates a better life together. The Forum on Targeted Poverty Alleviation, co sponsored by the People's Daily and the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, was held in Shenzhen on the 20th. The 6th International Public Welfare Summit of China Public Welfare and Charity Project Exchange and Exhibition, jointly held by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the People's Daily, the Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council, the Guangdong Provincial Government and the Shenzhen Municipal Government, was held at the same time.
Zhan Chengfu, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, said in his speech at the summit that all kinds of philanthropic forces should actively assume social responsibilities and take poverty alleviation as the primary task to build a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way. Xie Jingrong, vice chairman of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, said that private enterprises are an important force in poverty alleviation. The "ten thousand enterprises help ten thousand villages" action is moving towards deep poverty areas and special poor groups to accelerate the combination of blood transfusion and hematopoiesis. Lu Xinning, deputy editor in chief of the People's Daily, proposed that the People's Daily should use the "depth" of publicity and implementation of the central spirit to calibrate the "precision" of poverty alleviation, use the "people's hearts" that reflect the wishes of the front-line poverty alleviation workers to gather the "determination" to really do something, and transform the "cooperation" of the eight parties into the "power" of unity. Ou Qingping, deputy director of the Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council, said that he hoped that the Charity Fair would become a "big stage" for mobilizing social forces to participate in poverty alleviation, a "fresh force" for helping areas with deep poverty, and that social organizations would play more and better "public welfare cards" in targeted poverty alleviation. Chen Rugui, the mayor of Shenzhen, said that Shenzhen took the fight against poverty as an important political task and implemented a number of key support projects to help regional development and stabilize the people out of poverty.
The forum released more than 40 recommended cases of targeted poverty alleviation. The People's Daily officially launched a large-scale special interview and report on targeted poverty alleviation at the forum. The People's Daily client targeted poverty alleviation channel was officially launched, and the "Poverty Alleviation Online" client built and operated by the People's Daily also launched a new version. The forum also held round table dialogues on the themes of "e-commerce helps build a poverty alleviation brand", "poverty alleviation model innovation", and "public welfare forces help poverty alleviation".
