Sanyam Chaurasia, senior analyst of Canalys, said: "The release of Samsung S24 marks a critical moment of its AI and high-end strategy, which may reshape the industry pattern. Compared with the S23 released last year, Samsung released the Galaxy S24 one month ahead of schedule, and shipped 13.5 million units in the first quarter, up 35% year on year."
He also added: "In the Middle East, Africa and Latin America markets, driven by the strong shipment of new models, Xiaomi and Median achieved strong growth of 33% and 86% respectively."
