China news agency, Hong Kong, September 21, by wire: Hong Kong section of the high-speed railway will be opened to traffic soon, and the "Dynamic" train will be visited in advance

China News Agency reporter Li Zhuolong

The silver underbody sets off the red and orange interlaced headstock, and the red and white interlaced wavy patterns wrap around the body, making the train like a "flying dragon" when running at high speed - the "Dynamic" train serving the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou Shenzhen Hong Kong high-speed railway (Hong Kong section of the high-speed railway) is ready to start, ready to "move" and lead Hong Kong into a new era of high-speed railway.

The Hong Kong section of the high-speed railway will be officially opened on September 23. A reporter from China News Agency recently visited the train parking place in Shek Kong, New Territories, Hong Kong, and boarded the "Dynamic" train. At the front of the car, the three words of "dynamic number" in orange are obvious. The name "Dynamic" means that Hong Kong is a dynamic city, and Hong Kong people and its social economy are full of vitality.

On September 1, the West Kowloon Station of the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou Shenzhen Hong Kong High speed Railway was opened to the public for the first time. A large number of people who had received tickets in advance came to visit. In addition to understanding the procedures and procedures such as how to take the high-speed railway and purchase tickets, many people were very interested in the internal and external facilities of the West Kowloon Station and kept taking pictures. The "Dynamic" train has a total length of 203 meters and eight carriages, which can provide 579 seats. It only has first class seats and second class seats, and does not have business seats or first-class seats. Among them, the first and eighth carriages are first-class carriages, with 68 seats in total; The second to seventh sections are second-class carriages, and the seventh compartment is equipped with two wheelchair seats.

When entering the second-class carriage, the seats are arranged in "2+3", orange and gray are interlaced, the floor is printed with wavy lines, and the outer edge of the luggage rack is also wavy, which makes people feel bright and lively.

In terms of seats, passengers can adjust the angle of the seat back and the direction of the entire seat. The front seat back is equipped with a table and magazine rack that can be opened and closed, and the wall beside the seat is also equipped with clothes hooks.

"First class seats are as good as airplanes." A staff member of the Hong Kong Railway Company Limited (MTR) smiled and recommended to reporters that there are "three magic weapons" in the first class carriages that are not available in the second class: independent reading lights, pedals and personal audio output sockets with adjustable volume.

On September 13, 10 days before the official opening of the Guangzhou Shenzhen Hong Kong High speed Railway, Hongkong Post held a press conference and announced that a set of special stamps and related philatelic products with the theme of "Hong Kong Section of the Guangzhou Shenzhen Hong Kong High speed Railway" would be launched and sold on September 17 as a souvenir. This set of stamps has a distinctive image. It runs through four stamps with the eye-catching color and streamline design of the high-speed train, and displays the characteristics of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong from left to right. The train on the stamp has a pattern representing the culture and landmarks of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The middle section of the train turns into two hands, symbolizing the economic and other exchanges between Hong Kong and the mainland. With the opening of the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou Shenzhen Hong Kong high-speed railway, the train will become closer and work together to open up new opportunities. Sitting in the first class carriage, the seats are arranged in "2+2". The seats are divided into two colors: pink ripples on a red background and dark gray rose patterns on a gray background, echoing the rose patterns on the floor. The light in the compartment is soft, and the overall feeling is comfortable and fashionable.

The reporter walked along the inside passage to the rear of the car and found that the emergency equipment on the car was complete. All signs, indicators and warning slogans were in both Chinese and English. They were simple and complex, meeting the needs of passengers in different places. In addition, an information display screen is set at the entrance and exit of each carriage to scroll to display welcome words, train number, destination and speed. Each carriage is also equipped with a large luggage rack.

On the car, the reporter also tested the self-service hot water equipment and power socket, and found that they worked normally, and the mobile phone could also be connected to WiFi in a short time.

The Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou Shenzhen Hong Kong High speed Railway will be opened to traffic on the 23rd of this month. Since September 1, MTR has held a public open day for the West Kowloon Station of the high-speed railway for two days in a row. A large number of people have visited the station. In addition to understanding the operation of high-speed railway facilities, they also took photos in the station. Photographed by China News Service reporter Mai Shangmin

From the comfort point of view, the hardness of the seat is moderate. For the seating space, the reporter is more than 1.8 meters tall, and his legs can be just placed in the second class seat. When he sits in the first class seat, there is about 20 centimeters of space between his knees and the back of the chair in front.

On the whole, the most commendable thing about the "Dynamic" is its thoughtful design. For example, there is an accessible toilet in the car to facilitate the disabled. The door of the toilet is opened by a button, and there is a mother and baby care desk on the wall. In addition, considering the inconsistency of electrical plugs between the mainland and Hong Kong, each seat in the car is equipped with two types of power sockets.

"The test of the 'Dynamic' train has been completed, including cross-border dynamic and system tests." Hu Ruihua, deputy head of train operations of MTR Corporation, told reporters that there are more than 60 Hong Kong high-speed railway drivers who have been recognized by the mainland at present, which is enough to meet the needs of the high-speed railway when the Hong Kong section is opened. "Mobile" is ready for service.
