On July 1, 2018, 16 long formation Fuxing EMUs were put into operation on the Beijing Shanghai High Speed Railway, and successively operated on Beijing Guangzhou High Speed Railway, Shanghai Kunming High Speed Railway and other lines; On September 23, 2018, the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou Shenzhen Hong Kong High speed Railway will be put into operation, the mainland high-speed railway network will be extended to Hong Kong, and the Fuxing EMU will reach the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The railway department summarizes and promotes the operation and management experience of Fuxing EMU in Beijing Shanghai High Speed Railway, further standardizes the service standards of national railway Fuxing EMU such as service identification, broadcasting, publicity materials, spare parts, ticket verification, etc., refines and improves the service process, and Fuxing train Wi Fi promotes the "dual network integration" of high-speed rail network and Internet, making passenger travel more convenient; Relevant railway bureaus and group companies have launched a series of new service measures, such as key passenger services, bilingual broadcasting services, and provision of commonly used travel supplies, in combination with the actual work of transport services. Since its operation, Fuxing EMU has attracted a large number of passengers with its good operation service quality. It has sent a total of 76011000 passengers, with an average load factor of 82.7%. The departure and arrival punctuality rates of Fuxing EMU have reached 99.2% and 97.9% respectively. Taking Fuxing has become the first choice for many passengers.

The development of intelligent Fuxing EMU with a speed of 350 km/h is progressing smoothly, and the trial production and assembly of sample vehicles will be completed by the end of 2018, and the commissioning and test verification will be completed in 2019; The sample vehicle of Fuxing EMU with a speed of 250 km/h has been off the line, and the preparatory work for type test is under way; The finalization of the design of the 160 km/h speed level power centralized Fuxing EMU has been basically completed, which is a step further from mass production.
