Before the meeting, Xi Jinping and other leaders arrived in turn and were warmly welcomed by Prime Minister O'Neill of Papua New Guinea.
The meeting began at about 10:30 a.m. local time. O'Neill presided over. The theme of this APEC Informal Leaders' Meeting is "Seizing Inclusive Opportunities and Embracing a Digital Future". China is willing to deepen digital economic cooperation with all parties in the Asia Pacific region, foster more points of convergence of interests and economic growth, and inject strong new momentum into the Asia Pacific economy. China will work with other countries to jointly build and share the Belt and Road with high quality, high standards and high standards, creating greater development opportunities for people in the Asia Pacific region and around the world.
Xi Jinping stressed that the leaders of the Asia Pacific region have the responsibility to plan the cooperation vision of APEC after 2020.
