The tropical depression in the southeast ocean of Taiwan has strengthened into the 13th typhoon of this year, "Tiange" (tropical storm class, English name: Hato; Source of name: Japan; Meaning of name: pigeon constellation). At 5 o'clock in the afternoon, its center is located in the northwest Pacific Ocean about 700 kilometers southeast of Erluanbi, Taiwan, which is 20.4 degrees north latitude and 127.4 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is 8 degrees (18 meters/second), the minimum pressure in the center is 1000 hpa, and the radius of the seventh level wind circle is 120-150 kilometers.

It is expected that the "sky pigeon" will move to the west by north at the speed of 20-25 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will gradually increase, with the strongest reaching the level of strong tropical storm or typhoon (25-33 meters, 10-12 levels). It will land or cross the south of Taiwan in the daytime on the 22nd, and then move into the northeast of the South China Sea, gradually approaching the coastal areas from eastern Guangdong to southern Fujian.

Gale forecast: from 20:00 on the 20th to 20:00 on the 21st, there will be 7-8 gales in the Bashi Strait, the Taiwan Strait, the ocean surface east of Taiwan and the southeast coast of Taiwan. The wind force in the nearby sea area where the "Tiange" center passes will be 9-10 and gust will be 11.

Precipitation forecast: From 20:00 on the 20th to 20:00 on the 21st, there will be heavy rain in parts of eastern Taiwan.
