At the anti-terrorism drill site, more than 20 special operations personnel only received the task of "anti hijacking" after descending from the helicopter rope to the mission area. The basic information such as how many "terrorists" are, what weapons they carry, and how many "hostages" they take need to be investigated by themselves. After all-round reconnaissance and search, the team members scientifically studied and judged the situation and quickly formulated a detailed rescue plan. During the operation, the officers and soldiers successfully subdued the "terrorists" and rescued the "hostages" by means of concealed infiltration, psychological warfare, luring the enemy, and surprise rescue.
During the drill, the garrison also gives full play to the advantages of joint exercises of multiple services and arms. The services and arms not only organize coordinated operations, but also conduct confrontation drills for each other's blue army. The helicopter unit from an aviation corps has just completed the joint patrol task with the naval unit, and then turned to the confrontation drill with the naval frigate formation, air force radar and air defense unit. Wei Xiaodong, the leader of a flight squadron performing the mission, said that this kind of drill method, which is both "friendly" and "enemy", requires participating forces to know the combat capabilities of other services and arms as well as themselves, so as to constantly improve the quality level of joint operations.
