According to the In depth Analysis Report on Artificial Intelligence Technology Patents recently released by the China Patent Protection Association, Baidu, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Microsoft, Tencent and Samsung ranked the top five domestic patent applications. Among them, Baidu ranked first among domestic applicants with 2368 applications.

In addition to the absolute advantage of the total number of applications, Baidu also ranks first among domestic applicants with 155, 570, 693 and 576 applications in four key AI technology fields, namely, automatic driving, speech recognition, natural language processing, intelligent search and intelligent recommendation.
