To download a 7 yuan paid paper, you need to recharge 50 yuan on CNKI first. Liu Mou, a college student in Suzhou, Jiangsu, sued CNKI. Suzhou Gusu District People's Court ruled that the provisions of the China Knowledge Network Recharging Center on the minimum recharge amount were invalid. At present, CNKI has adjusted the charging method. (See People's Daily on February 19)

Paying for online products has gradually become a trend, but it is not certain that paid products are of high quality. According to data, 74.7% of the respondents said that they had encountered situations that did not meet expectations after purchasing paid knowledge products, and 51.3% of the respondents felt that it was not easy to safeguard their rights. What's more, users often cannot find refund and rights protection channels. The absence of rights protection mechanism has become a practical problem in the field of knowledge payment.

Consumers of knowledge payment products face difficulties in safeguarding their rights. First, most of the payment products are not expensive, and the cost of safeguarding their rights is relatively high. Many people give up because they are "uneconomical"; Second, at present, knowledge payment has not yet established a mature transaction system such as online shopping, and the knowledge that has been sold can also be spread and traded again by consumers. This ownership relationship is not clear and standardized, making it difficult to protect rights.

Therefore, it is particularly important to create a sound protection mechanism for the rights and interests of knowledge paying consumers. The platform side of knowledge payment products should establish channels and arbitration mechanisms to solve problems. For example, imitate the existing mature consumption evaluation mechanism of e-commerce, establish a knowledge-based consumption evaluation mechanism and a complaint acceptance mechanism; We will build a third-party evaluation system and a judicial assistance system, and explore more diversified non litigation dispute resolution mechanisms. In addition, the knowledge payment platform should establish a trial consumption mechanism, and ensure the consistency between the trial consumption content and the overall content quality. Only when the trial consumption is satisfied can the payment be made.

Respect for knowledge and protection of intellectual property are becoming more and more popular, and the mode of intellectual payment is the trend of the times. Only by reversing the current problem of focusing on development over standardization and only on non-standard development, changing the idea of focusing on quick rather than safety and making fast money, fully protecting consumer rights and interests, and making the knowledge payment market move towards legalization and maturity, can this field have a more promising future.
