Saving Private Ryan
Saving Private Ryan is a war movie produced by DreamWorks in 1998, directed by Steven Spielberg and co starred by Tom Hanks, Tom Seymour and Matt Damon. The film was released in the United States on July 24, 1998.
The film describes four sons of Ryan's family who fought in the front line after the Normandy landing. Except for Private James Ryan, the youngest son of the 101st Airborne Division, whose whereabouts are still unknown, the other three sons have been killed in various places within two weeks. After General Marshall, chief of staff of the U.S. Army, learned of this incident, out of humanitarian considerations, he ordered the front line to organize an eight member team to find out Private James Ryan, whose life or death was uncertain in the sea of people and bullets, and sent him back safely to the rear.
