Zhong Yang, male, Han nationality, born in Shaoyang, Hunan Province in May 1964, joined the Communist Party of China in June 1991. Before he died, he was a member of the Party Committee of Fudan University, president of the Graduate School, professor and doctoral supervisor of the College of Life Sciences, the sixth, seventh and eighth batch of Tibetan aid cadres of the Central Organization Department, a distinguished professor of Changjiang Scholars of the Ministry of Education, and a winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He has been engaged in botany and bioinformatics research and teaching for a long time, and has made a series of important research achievements.
On September 25, 2017, Comrade Zhong Yang met with a car accident on a business trip to Inner Mongolia Chengchuan Ethnic Cadre College to give lectures to cadres in ethnic areas and died at the age of 53.

"I like dandelions best when I collect seeds. There are about 200 dandelions in a handful. I hate coconuts most.
